Exploring Submission at Your Own Pace

Submission is often sold as speed: how fast you can hand yourself over, how little you ask, how quietly you agree. The Submissive Path in Chains of Harmony is slower than that on purpose. The stories ask you to name the gift, keep the edge you already spoke, and notice when pleasing has replaced choice.

It is a game. It does not place you in service to anyone. It does not certify you as a submissive. Needs that belong in a living dynamic are still described in submissive needs. This page is about the fictional practice beside that.

A gift has a size

The Gift of Submission is a particular offer. If you cannot say what you are giving, you have an appetite or a mood, not a gift. A blank cheque — “whatever you want” — is not the lesson. A new act needs its own yes, said while you can still postpone it.

That is the opposite of self-erasure. The path treats a specific yes as more devoted than a vague one, because the other person can actually hear it.

The edge you named still counts

The Velvet Boundary is the limit that was already spoken. Softening it so you will be liked is not the passing move. Yellow is allowed to change the intensity. Red is allowed to stop the act. Both are part of submission in this game, not interruptions of it.

The Power Exchange lesson treats authority as a loan with a shape and an end. Disappointment on someone else’s face is not a yes to a different act. You can postpone. You can decline. The story is written so those can be the right answers.

Devotion includes the care you require

The Ritual of Devotion is not only the service you perform. It includes the care you need in order to stay a person inside the ritual. A scene that leaves you unseen is not finished. Aftercare is not a reward for having been easy.

Your private writings on this path stay on your account. They are not a public profile, and they are not shown to people browsing Members.

Pace, belts, and the other games

White Belt is what you can earn now. Completing a lesson and its check earns that stripe. Four white stripes do not by themselves award Blue. The promotion assessment is not open yet, and Blue chapters are not open yet. There is no certificate. Paid plans do not buy belts.

Those belts are also not the levels in a couple’s training campaign. Points and XP there belong to a dynamic with another person. Walking this path does not create that dynamic. If you already have a Dominant, you can invite them. If you are still looking, dating is a separate door, and finding a healthy Dominant is a slower conversation than any lesson.

When you want the stories, start at the Submissive Path. The matching leadership practice is the Dominant Path. You may walk either one first.
